The challenge
A tutoring business has to coordinate much more than a registration form: learner needs, parent details, subject fit, tutor availability, scheduling, communication and progress all have to stay connected.
The challenge was to create a clear public experience while building the operational foundation needed by students, tutors and administration behind it.
What was built
A public website explains the tutoring model, subjects and programmes, then guides each learner through a structured, multi-step registration covering learning needs and availability.
Dedicated sign-in paths support the wider tutoring operation, with role-based spaces for students, tutors and administration rather than one shared view for everyone.
Key features
Guided learner intake
A multi-step registration gathers tutoring choices, learner and contact details, learning needs, availability, review and consent in a clear sequence.
Value Every learner request arrives structured and ready to review.
Role-based platform access
Students, tutors and administrators enter through distinct sign-in paths, so each person can work with the information relevant to their role.
Value One platform can support several parts of the tutoring operation securely.
Tutor application workflow
A separate tutor pathway allows recruitment to be managed independently from learner registrations.
Value Tutor growth does not get mixed into the customer intake process.
Programmes and ongoing tracking
Structured programme information and portal-based tracking support a service that continues after registration, including schedules and learning activity.
Value The product supports delivery, not only marketing and sign-up.
What this gives the business
- A single platform connecting public information, learner intake and private operations.
- Registrations arriving with subject, learning-needs and availability context.
- Clear separation between student, tutor and administrative experiences.
- An operational foundation that can grow with programmes, tutors and learners.
Built through collaborative discovery
The platform was shaped around the real journey from discovering tutoring support to submitting complete registration information and entering the appropriate private workspace.
Public pages and operational areas were treated as one connected product, allowing the platform to grow beyond its initial intake function.
